At AECT, a personalized curriculum design looks after the different needs of the different children enabling every child to realize his/her highest potential in varied aspects of Life & Development. Curriculum is all the planned, guided and implemented learning that occurs in a School.

At the K.G. level, we focus on the development of oral as well as written expression, creative writing, critical thinking and mathematical skills. With this focus, we also review about their likes – dislikes and potential of Students. Critical thinking is encouraged through various thinking skill activities. The teaching-learning process at this level is interactive and conscious effort is made to integrate Subjects, thus helping Children to move from the known and explore the unknown. ACADEMIC CURRICULUM FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL

Standard 1st To 4th

Primary education is the first step a Child takes towards formal Learning. The Curriculum provides the Development of basic Concepts and Skills in various Subject areas. The Subjects at School include English, Mathematics, Environmental Science and Gujarati. At this stage we follow the GSEB prescribed Syllabus and Evaluation process. Smart Class Modules, Group Work, Group Discussions, Interaction, Experimentation, Project Work, Dramatization are the tools used to facilitate the Teaching – Learning process at Middle Primary School level. We also use personalized Curriculum Designed Books of AADHARSHILA for STD 1st to 4th, as per requirements of Study Basis.

Academic Curriculum For Middle Primary School

Standard 5th To 8th

Learning becomes more formal with diversification of Subjects – Science into Biology, Physics & Chemistry, and Mathematics into Algebra, Geometry & Arithmetic, and Social Studies into History, Civics and Geography. In Primary School we follow the GSEB prescribed Syllabus and Evaluation process. Smart Class Modules, Group Work, Group Discussions, Interaction, Experimentation, Project Work, Dramatization, Power Point Presentations are the tools used to Facilitate the Teaching – Learning process at Primary School level.

Academic Curriculum For Secondary School

Standard 9th & 10th

Moving into the Secondary School entails more organized Study time for the Students. The Educational Program shifts in its emphasis towards preparation of Students for the GSEB Examination. We strictly follow the education process and evaluation system as per guidelines of GSEB. A variety of teaching methods are used in our Class-rooms to address different needs of the Students. The Students work alone, with partners and in small and large groups. They are given opportunities to understand in a broader dimension to apply their knowledge to solve problems. The Academic Curriculum is balanced by participating in Art, Music, Sports and other Co-Curricular Activities.

Academic Curriculum For Higher-secondary School

Standard 11th & 12th Commerce & Science Stream

Aadharshila offers Commerce and Science Streams at the Higher Secondary level. Learning is imparted through Observation, Experimentation, Group Discussions and Project Work. We also train Students to integrate knowledge with technology and to take on the fresh challenges of an increasingly global world order. Special emphasis is laid on working with Students who need improvement in particular Subjects to clear the Board Examinations. We follows Gujarat State Education Boards given Syllabus and Evaluation Pattern for Students Academic Curriculum. The Students are prepared emotionally to handle the Stress and Anxiety of Examination pressure.
